Niranjan began practicing Svaroopa® yoga in 2004. “I was invited to attend a class having no idea what it would be like. After that class I knew something felt different, but I wasn’t sure what it was. I was intrigued enough to keep attending. The more I practiced, the more I noticed change in my life, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. I started to have the experience of living life from a place of being open and present in all activities and was inspired to start teaching. I’ve been teaching since April of 2007 and am a Certified Svaroopa® Yoga Teacher.”
I have continued my love and dedication for yoga in the meditation practices as well. Now being certified as a Svaroopa Vidya® Meditation teacher and Satsang Group Meditation Leader, Niranjan offers Meditation Workshops and monthly Satsang's.
Outside of teaching Niranjana works as a manufacturing engineer in a foam fabrication plant.
Bhakta has over 1,000 hours of training through Master Yoga Teacher Institute. She has practiced yoga since her early twenties. Her first introduction to Svaroopa® Yoga was in a weekend workshop with Nirmalananda in Minneapolis, MN. She continued to practice Svaroopa® Yoga from that point on.
Having suffered from back pain for many years this yoga not only addressed her pain but gave her a new level of comfort in her body along with an expanded awareness beyond the limitations of her body and mind. She began teaching Svaroopa® Yoga in 2002 after taking the Foundations course (she now travels nationally to teach this course). She received her training from Swami Nirmalananda, (Rama Berch), the founding president of Yoga Alliance, master teacher and originator of Svaroopa® Yoga, founder of Master Yoga Foundation and Svaroopa Vidya® Ashram.
“There are many different styles of Hatha yoga (the practice of asana). I chose to teach Svaroopa® Yoga because it gave me the most profound change. Svaroopa® Yoga is practiced for the purpose of healing, transformation, and transcendent experience. By delving into and through your own body you can come to know your own True Self.”
Bhakta transitioned out of the photo business and has been teaching yoga full time since 2006. Bhakta has always been a spiritual seeker. This yoga tradition continues to inspire and deepen her spiritual development. She is dedicated to supporting others with their physical and spiritual fulfillment.
In addition to her weekly classes she teaches Svaroopa® Vidya Meditation, offers Embodyment® sessions, Vichara sessions & Svaroopa® Yoga Therapy; she hosts many Svaroopa® Yoga programs and serves the community as a Leading Teacher, DTS Mentor, SATYA enrollment coordinator, and Foundations Teacher Trainer.

Yoga At The Well
Prakash took his first Svaroopa® Yoga class in 2010 after his physician told him there was nothing else western medicine could do for his back pain. After his first class Prakash felt profound relief and after 3 weeks of classes was able to stop taking pain killers. As Prakash took classes and started a home practice he continued to see beneficial changes in his body as well as mind and decided that he needed to pass on this profound practice to other people and started his teaching career by taking Foundations of Svaroopa® Yoga to begin teacher training. He started teaching in 2011 and has continued to deepen his practice and training. He is a Certified Svaroopa® Yoga Basics Teacher and Embodyment® Therapist.
The teachers at Yoga At The Well are committed to meeting students where ever they are at, physically, mentally, and more; to use our extensive training to provide students with the deepest experience and knowledge of all of the Svaroopa® yoga sciences.
